Miss Lushy completed this large scale mural over the course of two months. Starting in December 2019 and finishing by February 2020, she worked long 12-hour days painting to finish the mural, successfully accomplishing one of her largest mural to date.

Celia Cruz Mural in Calle Ocho’s Latin Walk of Fame
Located in Little Havana Painted by Miss Lushy
The Latin Walk of Fame on Calle Ocho is a main attraction in Little Havana honoring stars such as Celia Cruz, Julio Iglesias and Gloria Estefan. The first artist ever to be honored with a star on the famous sidewalk was Celia Cruz in 1987. Miss Lushy painted a mural in her honor across her walk of fame star to pay homage to the Queen of Salsa.
